Hi, folks- Please review this blog post about W3Conf and the Doc Sprint. I'd like to post it as soon as possible. Comments welcome. Regards- -Doug In just a month, W3C and Adobe, along with other partners, are teaming up to host a developer conference and a Web Platform Doc Sprint. W3Conf [http://www.w3.org/conf/], W3C's conference for developers and designers, is coming up on February 21-22 at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. The opening session, delivered by Mozilla's Janet Swisher and W3C's Doug Schepers, will feature Web Platform Docs and community involvement. Other speakers include CJ Gammon, Lea Verou, and Alexis Deveria, all of whom have contributed to WebPlatform.org. The closing keynote is by Eric Meyer, and the browser panel will include a developer and designer from the audience [http://www.w3.org/QA/2013/01/join_us_at_w3conf.html], to represent the view from the trenches. The accompanying Doc Sprint [http://docsprint.eventbrite.com/] will be held the day after the conference, Saturday February 23rd, at the Adobe office. Come join us for both events! Register for W3Conf with the promo code 'webplatform' and get $120 off the fee. And don't forget to register for the Doc Sprint [http://docsprint.eventbrite.com/]... it's free, and a great way to get involved.
