Hi Virginie, thank you for your comments. See my 2cts below > -Section 2 : the label ‘Web Payments Architecture’ does not really > reflect the scope of that item. Something like ‘Web Payments use cases > and requirements’. Or do we really want to design an architecture ? in > that case it should be added in the list of items delivered. this is a very important one imho. I believe we need to clarify this in more details. Architecture is definitely a bad word, but i think we need to go a bit further than use-cases and requirements. What i wanted to cover in this item is the definition of the place of the standard in the overall payment scheme. For instance, I believe we need to build a coherent view that will identify the areas where: * standards are needed * regulations need to be taken into account I believe we are not going to work on payment transaction itself, but more as a layer on top of existing payment providers to provide an unified way to interact with these providers. So i think we need to build this picture describing where W3C web payments activity is working, and where are the different actors. Does that make sense? If yes, i will try to rework this. > -Section 3.1 : you may add the Web Security IG as a possible group to > interfere with. good point. will add > -Section 5 Communication : mails are going to the web payment community > group public-webpayments@w3.org <mailto:public-webpayments@w3.org> > (archive <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webpayments/>).. I will correct. the current CG will continue is work on the set of specifications they feel are important. It is essential to separate the work. I will make it clear. I take the opportunity of this email to thank all those who provided comments to date. I will continue collecting input till the end of this week before making a new version next monday. In the meantime, i will update tomorrow the CG wiki page (http://www.w3.org/community/webpaymentsigcharter/wiki/Main_Page ) To list all comments received to date and the change that will appear in the next version of the charter (aka disposition of comments) Best Steph > > Regards, > > Virginie > > gemalto > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > This message and any attachments are intended solely for the addressees > and may contain confidential information.
