As one of the founders and continuing participant in "Fantasy Rules Committee," the world's longest-running play-by-e-mail Nomic-like game, I have experience with practical parlimentary procedure in the realm of mailing list governance. With the authority inherent in that verifiable credential, I present to this working group the following: As the groups Facilitator, Manu Sporny has been performing the duties of Chair. He is willing to continue doing so. His evident integrity as a public servant is exemplified in the particular present situation by his demand that he check himself before effecting what could be interpreted as a "power grab" were he to simply name himself the Chair without due process. I therefore hereby formally nominate Manu Sporny for the position of working group Chair. I vote for Many Sporny for the position of working group Chair. Please respond to this list with your assent or reasoned objection to provide a permanent audit trail of your participation in this open Chair selection process.
