Hi all, There is a second round of discussions happening on the Verifiable Claims WG Charter related to payments use cases here: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/member-charters-review/2017Mar/0016.html I strongly advise W3C Members that care about the payments use cases to weigh in IMMEDIATELY. We may find consensus around including payments, but limiting the use cases into low risk use cases such as digital offers, digital receipts, loyalty cards, and proof of age. If there are other low risk use cases that your organization cares about around payments, you will want to mention them or they may not be included in the charter. To be clear, use cases around Know Your Customer and Verifiable Claims use for financial transactions would be out of scope until we achieve a number of low risk use cases in the payments industry. The expectation would be that we could recharter the group to address the high risk use cases once we've proven out the low risk use cases. -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny, G+: +Manu Sporny) Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: Rebalancing How the Web is Built http://manu.sporny.org/2016/rebalancing/
