CANTON Consulting supports the proposal and suggests minor amendments: - in 1.1 Liaise : "regulatory bodies" instead of "regulatory agencies" (the word "Agency" is quite specific to the US organization) - In part 2. : we similarly suggest to change "regulatory bodies, (...) and central banks" in " standards bodies, regulatory agencies, consumer groups, and trade organizations. Examples include EMVCo, the PCI Security Council, ISO 20022 and other committees, the FIDO Alliance, GSMA, GS1, UN/CEFACT, and regulatory bodies (agencies, central banks, ...) " (BTW, there no reason why central banks should be in the scope, besides being in charge to regulate payment activity) We have no objection for a 1 week extension of the delay Best regards Jean-Yves Jean-Yves ROSSI +336 51 24 77 94 jean-yves.rossi@cantonconsulting.fr [image: logo_CANTON-Consulting] CANTON <http://goog_1803985827/> - Consulting <http://cantonconsulting.eu/> *Découvrez NDP, le meilleur outil de veille <http://cantonconsulting.eu/edition/abonnement/abonnement-decouverte-formule-d-essai-incluant-4-numeros> sur les ruptures du monde du paiement !* 2017-06-19 4:54 GMT+02:00 Katie Haritos-Shea <ryladog@gmail.com>: > Knowbility supports the proposal as amended. > > Katie Haritos-Shea > 703-371-5545 > > On Jun 18, 2017 10:38 PM, "Kenneth Mealey" <Kenneth.Mealey@aexp.com> > wrote: > >> On behalf of AXP, I would like to request a one week extension to submit >> our input, i.e. by CoB next Friday, June 23rd. >> >> Thank you, >> Ken >> >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Ian Jacobs [mailto:ij@w3.org] >> Sent: Monday, June 12, 2017 10:08 AM >> To: Web Payments IG <public-webpayments-ig@w3.org> >> Subject: Call for Consensus to Request Member Review of Commerce IG >> Charter - Please Respond by 19 June >> >> Dear Web Payments Interest Group Participants, >> >> The charter of the Web Payments Interest Group [1] expires 30 September >> 2017. >> Since the March face-to-face meeting [2], we have been developing a new >> charter with an expanded scope. >> >> This is a Call for Consensus to determine whether the Interest Group >> supports the W3C Director requesting Membership review [3] of: >> >> Commerce Interest Group Charter >> https://www.w3.org/2017/03/commerce-charter.html >> >> PLEASE RESPOND to the proposal by 9am ET on 19 June. >> >> For the co-Chairs, >> Ian Jacobs >> >> [1] https://www.w3.org/2014/04/payments/webpayments_charter.html >> [2] https://www.w3.org/2017/03/22-wpay-minutes#item08 >> [3] https://www.w3.org/2017/Process-20170301/#CharterReview >> >> ========= >> PROPOSAL: That the Web Payments Interest Group request that the W3C >> Director >> propose the above charter to the W3C Membership. >> >> Please indicate one of the following in your response: >> >> 1.
