Dear Web Payments IG:

Having not heard any substantive comments, we are publishing the document with minor editorial changes.

Sorry this message is a little overdue.

Best regards,
David

Subject: [Feedback] Call for Consensus to Publish Web Payments Vision as Consensus of the Interest Group

Dear Web Payments Interest Group Participants,

This is a call for consensus on the following proposal:

  - To publish a vision for Web payments [1]

   at <http://www.w3.org/Payments/IG/Vision>

  - To list as Editors: Pat Adler, Adrian Hope-Bailie, Ian Jacobs, and Manu Sporny

  - To style and format the document as an "Editor's Draft" (using

the same style shown here for the use cases [2]).

  - To include the following statement in the status section to

express the level of endorsement by the IG:

"This document represents the consensus of the Web Payments

Interest Group as of the publication date of this document."

We will soon meet face-to-face and there is a possibility that our discussion could lead to changes in this document. Therefore, the calendar for this call for consensus is the following:

* 21 June: Comment period ends.

* If there are no objections and no substantive changes to the

vision statement, it will be published as described above soon

   after 21 June.

If there are objections or proposals for substantive changes we will try to resolve them and start a new Call for Consensus.

Thank you,

David Ezell, on behalf of the chairs and staff contacts
