We're a growing, diverse group of participants including browser vendors and contributors from ML frameworks such as TensorFlow.js, ONNX.js, and Brain.js, and other interested stakeholders incubating a Web API for neural network inference hardware acceleration. The group's minimalistic landing page has links to useful resources: https://webmachinelearning.github.io/ To get you up to speed, I'll summarize the group's current status briefly: This group kicked off last Oct and recently concluded its use case gathering phase. The group is now discussing requirements for the Web Neural Network API considering the needs of ML frameworks. Once consensus emerges on the requirements, we'll start drafting the API spec. All technical discussion in this group happens in GitHub issues.
