Thank you for raising this issue, my explanation is not as clear as it sounded in my head.

What I am aiming for is to use RFC threads as feedback-gathering threads rather than conversational, back-and-forth threads, thus limited to one comment per group member. This would enormously facilitate my work of going through everyone’s feedback and analyze the differences and similarities therein. It’s much easier to have the entirety of someone’s feedback contained in one single comment rather having to reconstruct a single point of view scattered across multiple comments.

That said, I also wanted to make clear that I don’t mean to limit the discussion on any given topic to RFC threads alone. The group should discuss as much as the group wants to discuss, both on this list and on GitHub. Just not on RFC threads specifically.

Does this clarify my previous statements?
