Hello Public-webfonts-wg, The review process for Internet Drafts is documented in RFC 4846 http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4846#section-4 so Brotli is at the "opportunity for community review and feedback" stage. The next step is request for publication, and showing that feedback has been solicited (and taken into account). There is also some guidance on IDs submitted to become RFCs http://www.ietf.org/id-info/checklist.html It is not attached to an IETF WG so it is an Independent Submission, described here https://www.rfc-editor.org/indsubs.html here is it's data tracker entry https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-alakuijala-brotli/ "In ISE Review" which was described to me as "they're making sure that it's not stepping on any toes in the IETF". There is no reviewer assigned. -- Best regards, Chris Lilley, Technical Director, W3C Interaction Domain
