RE: Add algorithm for AES Key Wrap ?

Oh goodness,

 

We must have some type of key wrap algorithm defined and AES Key Wrap is a
good one to be using.  We don't currently have anything that is defined as a
key wrap algorithm per say.  There are issues about using AES-GCM in some
places that are not as important for AESKW.

Now that we have wrap and unwrap operations defined, should we add an
algorithm section for AES Key Wrap (RFC3394 and RFC5649) ?

 

I'd be happy to draft the section if there is agreement.
