WebCGM Press Releases and Testimonial

Colleagues,

WebCGM 2.0 is on its way to PR and final REC.

We should start thinking about WebCGM Press Release and provide
Testimonial for publication of the WebCGM 2.0 REC.

1- Press Releases:
The Web CGM should start drafting a Press Release to be submitted to the
Communications Team.

Here is a Press Release example (For SVG)
http://www.w3.org/2003/01/svg11-pressrelease.html

Press Releases archives are also available at
http://www.w3.org/Press/

2- Testimonial statements:

The Communications Team invites the Membership to participate in a press
announcement by submitting supporting testimonial statements.
Testimonials are not translated by W3C, but submission of testimonials
in multiple languages is encouraged.

Please have a look at the Testimonial Guidelines at
http://www.w3.org/2004/12/testimonial_pr-guidelines.html

Also you may take a look at previous Testimonial (For SVG)
http://www.w3.org/2003/01/svg11-testimonial

Please start thinking about providing Testimonial from your company (as
this can take time in large companies).
If you need more info, let me know.
