lgarron has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/webauthn:

== What if the user has no displayName? ==
https://www.w3.org/TR/webauthn/#sctn-user-credential-params explains what to use as a `displayName`, which must be set.

At GitHub, we don't force users to have a profile name. (Even if they set one, they can remove it.)

Is there a better option than falling back to copying the login name?
