In the PR edition of AWWW [1], in the glossary, the definition
for "Namespace Document" is incorrect.
There is no requirement whatsoever that a URI used as
an XML Namespace must identify a "Namespace Document"
(no matter how much some folks would like that to be true).
E.g. consider the following XML fragment containing a fully valid
XML namespace declaration:
<foo xmlns="mailto:patrick.stickler@nokia.com">...</foo>
Per the definition in AWWW, the URI <mailto:patrick.stickler@nokia.com>
identifies a "Namespace Document", which I think we can all agree
is false.
Recommended replacement text:
"Namespace Document
An information resource that contains useful information,
machine-usable and/or human-usable, about terms in a
particular XML namespace."

Patrick
