Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
Chairs,

The Web Application Security Working Group charter [1] is hereby
extended until 30 September 2021.

As was announced on 9 June [2], a proposed recharter for the Web
Application Security Working Group was reviewed by the Advisory
Committee. This extension will allow additional time for resolution of
objections raised during the review period.

More information about this group and information about participation
can be found on its home page [3].

The group is currently chaired by Dan Veditz (Mozilla) and Mike West
(Google).

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
Mike Smith, Team Contact, at mike@w3.org.

This extension follows section 5.2.5 of the W3C Process Document:
   https://www.w3.org/2020/Process-20200915/#charter-extension

Thank you,

For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director,
Sam Weiler, Wendy Seltzer, and Mike Smith, Web Application Security WG
