https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=17224 Summary: Possible typo in section 6: Ping and Pong Frames Product: WebAppsWG Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: WebSocket API (editor: Ian Hickson) AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch ReportedBy: nrm@arcanedomain.com QAContact: public-webapps-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-webapps@w3.org This is a comment on http://www.w3.org/TR/2012/WD-websockets-20120524/#ping-and-pong-frames Quoting: "User agents must not use pings or unsolicited pongs to aid the server; it is assumed that servers will send solicit pongs whenever appropriate for the server's needs." Maybe I'm just not reading it right, but the clause after the semicolon doesn't parse for me. Should that say: "it is assumed that servers will send >>unsolicited<< pongs..."? -- Configure bugmail: https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
