I have no objections to anyone continuing down such a path (the spec is 
under a Creative Commons license to allow anyone to do just that). I would 
ask that people use another name if they did, though, to avoid confusion.

I expect XBL and Dimitri's work will evolve together and eventually end up 
being features specified in the HTML spec.
