The DAP WG is planning to publish a Last Call WD of their Contacts API on June 8, with a proposed comment deadline of July 6 or 13 (4 or 5 weeks): http://dev.w3.org/2009/dap/contacts/ Since they intend to ask WebApps to review the LC, please speak up ASAP (before May 26) if the July 6 deadline is problematic. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Heads up: Upcoming Last Call for Contacts API Resent-Date: Thu, 19 May 2011 10:02:32 +0000 Resent-From: <public-hypertext-cg@w3.org> Date: Thu, 19 May 2011 11:59:36 +0200 From: ext Robin Berjon <robin@berjon.com> To: public-hypertext-cg <public-hypertext-cg@w3.org> Dear Hypertext CG, the DAP WG is looking at transitioning its Contacts API document to Last Call: http://dev.w3.org/2009/dap/contacts/. A Call for Consensus has been issued to the group, the deadline of which is June 8th, at which point we will decide to proceed to LC or not. If we do proceed, that would place the beginning of the LC period the week after that (assuming no transition hurdle, June 14th). We are planning for 4-5 weeks of LC period so as to be able to process the feedback during our July 19-21 F2F. We expect to solicit review from all groups that partake in the browser stack, with a specific focus on WebApps. Please let us know if that seems good and fair, and if you have any reservations (or encouragements :). Thanks! -- Robin Berjon - http://berjon.com/
