However, I see a lack in this definition (http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2616#section-9.4) regarding resources usually obtained by a
 POST request:

uploaded data is not going to be sent to the host along with a HEAD request, not ALL headers will be returned with expected values. Some servers might even respond with an error response.
