Hi Adam, I'm writing on behalf of the Web Apps WG to inquire as to the status of the Media Type Sniffing spec [1]. The Widgets Packaging specification is ready to proceed to PR but has a normative dependency on [1]. In order for the widget spec to proceed to PR, the W3C has asked the WG to ascertain the stability of [1] in terms equivalent to those currently used at the W3C (i.e., Last Call Working Draft, Candidate Rec, etc.). Could you possibly give your opinion as to the maturity of [1] and if you see much chance of it changing (i.e., do you think changes to [1] could potentially break implementations of the Widgets Packaging spec)? Kind regards, Marcos [1] http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-abarth-mime-sniff-05 -- Marcos Caceres Opera Software
