Hey Jonas, What was the problem in simply creating it like it is shown in examples? The API is intentionally designed that way to be able to use constants such as LEFT_BOUND and operations like only directly from the interface. For example, IDBKeyRange.LEFT_BOUND; // this should evaluate to 4 IDBKeyRange.only("a").left; // this should evaluate to "a" Let me know if you need help with this IDL. Also, it might be a good idea to get the WebIDL experts involved in clarifying such questions rather than changing the API. Nikunj
