`<std-toast>` seems to not be so well-received ([example](https://twitter.com/jensimmons/status/1138980859728531456)), as if Google is somehow skipping standardization and forcing their solution on everyone. Consider following the ["problem-statement-first" WHATWG process](https://whatwg.org/faq#adding-new-features).
