IMO, "CSS inherit by default" makes sense. I've never heard a complaint about this default behavior from front-end folks for years. That would be a desired behavior in most cases in the real world, I guess.

On the other hand, I've received a lot of complaints about removing /deep/ from front-end folks. :)
