What about having the id instead of the full URL? The Google Play Store has something like "com.foo.bar". The iTunes store has some "idXXXXXXX". Those ids might be more long terms than URLs. UAs could even have ways to direct to the store that matches the user's location. Note also that maybe instead of "android" and "ios" we could have "play" and "itunes". The name of the store might be better than the name of the platform given that there can be more than one store per platform.
