Hi,

The spec defines the lazyload and postpone attributes depending on the visibility of the object having these attributes set. Note that feImage does not get displayed. So it is rather the element using <filter> (and the included <feImage>) that needs to be visible.

Also, feImage and image in SVG do not need to reference external resources. They can also reference elements within the same document. I guess this was not in the specs assumption.
