RE: [MEDIA_PIPELINE_TF] Updated TPAC slides

Hi Clarke and Mark,

Here is an updated version. I did not change R7 with my proposed text nor added a referance since not all suggested changes relate to oipf. Without prior discussion I did not want to make changes. I did change R10 and R11 since there was an alignment. I hope the proposed change is acceptable.

Rgards,
JanL

Hi,

I ran into a problem making me unproductive so I cannot make the updates. My computer decided to fail to login correctly. Appreciate some help.

Regards,
JanL

Jan,

The slices wil be treated as animation. I'm just using separate slides because they have to be posted at PDF or HTML and I didn't think PowerPoint animations would translate well.

Yes, please add your concrete suggestions for the MPTF slides. Note that Clarke is presenting a simplified version of the slides at the plenary with some detail (like bug numbers) removed. The important place for details is the MPTF slides for tomorrow afternoon's HTML WG meeting. There's plenty of time to add changes there.

Thanks,
mav

Hi Mark,

That is a lot of slides for 5 minutes. If you go too quickly over them things will not sinc in. Suggest possibly animation and stick to 5 slides or so.

This still does not address the MPTF slides and adding a reference to OIPF. Not all bullets I have listed need to be included but possibly as requested the example errors and states. If I get the latest version of the slides (if that is Clarke's last e-mail) then I can make a proposal on the 3 slides. Nothing lengthy but just to give concrete suggestions based on OIPF.

Regards,
JanL

By the way, here's the intro slides I'm presenting to introduce the Clarke and Giuseppe presentations. I forgot to send them to the list. They are just a very basic introduction to the two task groups. There are quite a few slides, but I'll just be clicking through them to in less than five minutes.

I'm happy to make last-minute changes, if needed.

Thanks,
mav

These additions provide concrete examples of deployments that W3C can refer to. A hot topic is related to DRM and in the examples I have a list of examples of information that is exchanged like error codes, state changes, etc.
