Hi Valentino, thank you! Could you add a message to TURTLEDOVE + SPARROW + etc Discord thread pointing at your new repo also? https://discourse.wicg.io/t/advertising-to-interest-groups-without-tracking/4565 Do you plan to attend the WIGC meeting on TURTLEDOVE + SPARROW during TPAC in a few weeks? Its details are here: https://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC/2020/GroupMeetings#CG_Group_Meetings_details (Tues October 13 15:00 UTC, i.e. the same time as the normal web-adv BG meeting). Since TURTLEDOVE and SPARROW moved into WICG, rather than living in people's personal repos, that probably ought to be the place where consensus documents are hammered out. --Michael On Fri, Sep 25, 2020 at 12:30 PM Valentino Volonghi <dialtone@nextroll.com> wrote: > hey, > > over the past few weeks at NextRoll we've put together this extension > of TURTLEDOVE to fully specify all the areas that we felt didn't have > enough detail and made some changes to its functionality, while > keeping it mostly aligned to how it's written, in order to improve > certain performance aspects, such as networking. > > We've also taken learnings from the many other similar documents > released by other members of this group such as SPARROW, > product_level_turtledove, outcome_based_turtledove and more. > > The spec is available here: > https://github.com/AdRoll/TERN > > It is open for comments and PRs from this group and others as well. > We'd love to hear your feedback and discuss this during the next > meeting of the improve web advertising group. > > Cheers! > > -- > Valentino Volonghi > CTO, Founding Team > dialtone@nextroll.com > > -- Forewarned is worth an octopus in the bush.
