Friday agenda

I thought I’d get the agenda out early and put in a request for folks to take some time to both look through the top drafted items and add any items to the top that you believe are mature drafts. This is just in the interest of having more consideration of drafts without taking as much time on the call for everyone to absorb.

If this isn’t realistic, please let me know here, or we can briefly discuss on the call.

One of the things to draw attention to are draft WG responses I’ve crafted. I’m trying a slightly different format where I put the key ‘decision’ at the top, and then provide a Rationale section. I think it makes the response clearer. I’d like to find out if folks think this is a good overall approach (disregarding my actual drafted response for any issue).

Bruce has expanded our standing agenda a bit:

  1.
Announcements
     * Poll TF members if need to reserve time on call (for items not in ‘For Discussion‘ or at top of ‘Drafted’)
  2.  Review ‘For discussion’ items.
     *   Generally, top to bottom
  3. Review ‘Drafted’ items (30 min), either:
     * Move back to In progress, with more work to do; or
     * Move to Ready for approval, if there is general agreement the issue is sufficiently resolved; or
     * Leave in Drafted, if discussion was not concluded satisfactorily.
  4. ‘In progress’ items flagged at top of call.
  5.
Time permitting, Review ‘To do’. items of interest to participants, including open discussions.
