Like Justin, I think your attempt is a very good start. I do agree about
requiring a short sentence as an intro, but not making any suggestions as
I'm hopeless at the 'pithy' one liners.

I think this is a step in the right direction. I think a good intro
sentence before the bullets would help it kind of flow a little bit.
Just the "WAI develops..." Kind of feels too listish.
I think it's a TON more scannable. I can actually read it with out
having to think a lot.
