Resigning from W3C

Dear Chairs and Facilitators,

Ref: https://www.w3.org/blog/2021/06/loving-and-leaving-w3c/

After a long process of considering many perspectives, I have finally
decided to take up a new exciting role outside W3C. This is one of the
most difficult decisions I've had to take, and it is not easy leaving
W3C after 18 amazing years of ground-breaking successes with WAI. Yet
some say there is life beyond W3C, and I'm curious to explore it...

My last day at W3C will be 30 September 2021. I'm working closely with
Judy on transition and hand-over plans, to minimize the impact on WAI
and to ensure continuity on my responsibilities and work areas.

I will not be far away. I'll continue working on digital accessibility
for a large tech company, and will continue to be actively involved in
the essential work of the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).

I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your fantastic
contributions! I look forward to working with you in another role.

Please let me know if you have questions or want to follow-up offline.

Regards,
   Shadi
