WCAG 3 Working Draft Updated

Dear WAI Interest Group,

For background and up-to-date information on W3C Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 3, please see:

The Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (AG) published an updated WCAG 3 Working Draft at:
 https://www.w3.org/TR/wcag-3.0/

Many aspects of WCAG 3 are in an exploratory phase, and will change. The new draft:
* clarifies the maturity of each section
* includes new potential approaches to conformance
* lists some guidelines to be developed

This update removes the previous draft guidance to reduce confusion about whether it was ready to use. The added maturity level (Placeholder, Exploratory, Developing, Refining, Mature) communicates the status of the draft guidance.

Because this draft reflects the ongoing state of the work, some people may have questions or concerns. Please reach out to the AG Chairs to help address questions, if needed. e-mail: group-ag-chairs@w3.org
