[[WS: Added appointed Liaison to the mix and then wonders, does the above requirement not apply to Compound Members where people participate in individual capacity? should it?]] All participants designated by Compound Members must disclose their employment affiliations when participating in W3C work. Provisions for related Members apply. Furthermore, representatives must represent the broad interests of the Compound Member and not the particular interests of their employers. > > For all representatives of a Member that is a Consortium, as > described in the preceeding two paragraphs, any IPR contributions are > only those of the individual person or Consortium they are > representing as no IPR commitments have been granted by the > individuals' employers. For all representatives of Compound Members, IPR contributions and commitments are on behalf of the Compound Member and individual, unless additional IPR commitments have been made by the individuals' employers.
