Re: Voice Interaction Community Group -- getting started

I'm Alexandre Morgaut

I was previously a W3C AC member representing the 4D Company which provide
a platform (Wakanda) to create end-to-end Javascript based Business
Applications

I am now working for Wiztivi (another french company) which create Web
Interfaces (EPG, VOD, Replay, interactive channels, operator device UI,
....) mostly on Television, Set-top-box, Gaming Consoles, but also more
recently on mobile, tablets, and smartwatch

I've always been concerned by accessibility and UX, so I'm very interested
by Voice input/output interactions via our supported devices to control and
consume videos (potentially with audio descriptions), program informations,
home automation, or anything

As of today, I've been mostly looking to CSS aural & Web Speech API, and I
had fun working on a Twilio plugin for Wakanda (phone calls controlled by
JavaScript), but I'm very interested to see how other technologies are
really used in practice (VoiceXML, SSML, ...)
