I would agree with Karen…. With the addition of 'abridged' to Book and a 'readBy' (or possibly narrator) provided by Audiobook, the combination of properties from Book and MediaObject would be sufficient to describe an Audiobook effectively. I have some sympathy with the isBasedOn suggestion. However I think it is part of a wider discussion about CreativeWork relationships which I have just started a new thread on. As to dramatization, I believe audiobook is specific enough to stand alone as a type, whereas a dramatisation may well be some other type (TV Episode, Play, etc.) and only has a relationship with a book it is based on. ~Richard On 19 Sep 2013, at 19:35, Karen Coyle <kcoyle@kcoyle.net> wrote: > the only other newly proposed property is "abridged". There was discussion as to whether this would be simply a text element of "Book/edition" but again we felt that it was important enough to have its down property. It is proposed as a property on Book since textual books can also be abridged. > > The other necessary elements come from AudioObject, such as "duration". > > kc > > On 9/19/13 11:13 AM, Thad Guidry wrote: >> Richard, >> >> What other properties are needed for AudioBook other than just readBy ? >> >> Is that all ? nothing more ?
