DIF Hackathon: Future of Learning and Working Track!

Dear VC-EDU Community,

I have some exciting news to share! DIF's Hackathon ( https://blog.identity.foundation/hackathon-2024-sponsor-announcement/ ) , starting next Tuesday Oct 1 , will feature a "Future of Learning and Working" track.  The track builds on the achievements of the VC-EDU community, including JFF Plugfest profiles, tooling, and standards they build upon.

Simone, Ildiko, and Dmitri have generously offered exciting opportunities for community cross-pollination, helping to further expose the hackathon builders to the VC-EDU problem space and expertise. I believe this can drive even more momentum around VC-EDU’s use cases, standards, and the JFF Plugfest stacks/profiles.

Some key dates:

* *October 1* : Hackathon begins (runs until Nov 4 )

* *October 7* : Kerri and I will join the VC-EDU call to dive deeper into the Future of Learning & Working track and challenge set, and answer any questions.
* *October 21* : The VC-EDU call will host the Future of Learning & Working track's Office Hour, offering hackathon participants a chance to learn more about the VC-EDU community, standards, tools, and use cases.
