Hi, As announced on the mailing-list [1] and based on the results of the call for review, the TV Control Working Group has been closed and the work on the TV Control API discontinued while we get more clarity on scope, use cases and requirements for this work to succeed on the Recommendation track. The TV Control API has now been published as a final Working Group Note with a prominent warning to alert readers that the spec should not be considered as stable, referenced or used as a basis for implementation: http://www.w3.org/TR/2017/NOTE-tvcontrol-api-20170518/ Discussions on scope, use cases and requirements for this work are now being held in the Web and TV Interest Group: https://www.w3.org/2011/webtv/ I strongly encourage interested parties to join the Interest Group and contribute to these discussions, typically through the IG's mailing-list public-web-and-tv@w3.org (the TV Control mailing-list will soon been discontinued as well). Many thanks for your support and investment in the TV Control Working Group, with special kudos to Chris for Chairing the group and Steve for editing the spec! Francois, staff contact.
