The opinion (legally non-binding) says industry's self-regulation is not achieving compliance. It should be emphasised (the obvious) - it's the companies that have to comply, not our website. As the national law is not fully transposed one should look carefully at the requirements at local level and comply with the national law. We clarify that there need to be a number of things done to comply with the law(s) and our solution is one part of a package of measures.

To follow up on this discussion:

The Article 29 Working Party published today an opinion on on the
on-line behavioural advertising self-regulatory framework proposed by
the EASA and IAB Europe, stating that these proposed solutions are
inadequate.
