zcorpan has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/touch-events: == Specify what browsers do on non-touch devices == See https://github.com/whatwg/dom/issues/227#issuecomment-211365756 It appears that all browsers essentially disable support for touch events on non-touch devices. I suggest the spec should reflect this reality and say what the expected behavior should be in that setup.
