yes, the thanksgiving and xmas holidays probably didn’t help. if you are aware of people who have reviewed or implemented the spec., it would be helpful if they could say to us that they have done so, even if they have no issues. That’s what I am asking: if you know of review activity that has happened but is not evident to us, get us the evidence! (e.g. does anyone know anyone at JWPlayer? I believe they support VTT) > On Jan 13, 2015, at 11:03 , Philip Jägenstedt <philipj@opera.com> wrote: > > http://www.w3.org/TR/webvtt1/ was published on 3 November 2014 and > since then not a single bug has been filed and the only activity on > the list was the "Vtt subtitles and karaoke style - by nino" thread. > So unfortunately, I know of no evidence of any review, certainly not > wide review. > > Philip > > On Tue, Jan 13, 2015 at 2:22 AM, David Singer <singer@apple.com> wrote: >> Guys >> >> we made a last-call version of the VTT spec. back in November, with a view to moving to Candidate Rec, in the Timed Text WG. To move to CR, I need to show that ‘wide review’ has happened. Though we’ve sent out notes to a number of other standards bodies, I don’t think we have had much (euphemism) actual feedback. Even if the spec. it totally perfect it would help if someone (preferably external to the W3C) said so. >> >> If you know people who are implementing VTT or care about it, and could comment, that would be great. >> >> (Just a reminder, we’re moving down the Rec.
