Hi, I'm interested in participating in the Web Testing IG[1]. Specifically, I'm interested in proposing that Selenium WebDriver would be ideal for the "testing framework" part of the charter. It already has industry support, as it's already integrated into Chrome and Opera, and it has the backing of Mozilla too. WebDriver also has extremely active Open Source participation, forming the heart of the two most popular OSS browser automation tools: Selenium and Watir.
