Re: welcome new SWISIG members!! and more introductions

I joined to group some time ago, because my work is in this area, but I
haven't yet introduced myself.

I'm a PHD student of the Computer Science Department of Sapienza,
University of Rome (Italy).

I'm working on an editor and engine for executing RDF pipelines consuming
linked data.
The main operators of a pipeline are RDF transformations defined through
SPARQL 1.1 Construct queries.
The output are arbitrary HTML + SVG visualizations (using an ontology
mapping XML DOM).
The main novelty respect to existing similar approaches is that is possible
to build interactive visualizations:
1) DOM Events are represented as RDF available as pipeline inputs
2) there are operators that have an internal state and are incrementally
updated through SPARQL Update queries.

In http://www.swows.org/ you can find some general info on the project. The
code is opensource (but right now not so stable nor documented, sorry...).

I'm involved also in a project a bit more on the "human side of CHI",
building a natural user interface (composed of a interactive tabletop and
tablets) for semantic data + multimedia exploration and manipulation by a
group of older adults.

I'd like to keep in touch with the group and possibly contribute to it
somehow.
