Thanks all for pitching in, nice to see things taking shape :-) quick thoughts before they fade 1. we are seeing the word user, and usability crop up increasingly frequently in SW research. this is great, I am sure our individual and collective efforts are contributing to this. ;long way to go, but the door seems ajar, we need to continue to push :-) 2. for each SW project/tool being developed/researched, nowadays it is possible to see the corresponding need for user models/usability etc etc I am seeing a lot of discussions in other places, including schema.org and in other projects, 3. this means/could mean customers for our consultancy :-) when we get around setting one up, but also a lot of 'related' work that could feed in to our activitiy, a lot of materials to review, blog posts that could be written either way = talking about the good work being done, as well as the good work that needs doing 4. Have you seen any usability related issue that we may have not yeet heard of? please share!! please carry out a usability review, or a blog post and link to report please keep eyes open on other SW communities and new research, and please add links to the REPORT for anything that may be of interested. even just capturing a glimpse of the shift to more user friendly SW and help to keep a tab on the general state of the art could be a valuable contribution PS. by all means, anyone can go ahead and organize a web meeting/call for this group (I am in an odd time zone, and on travel increasingly frequently and will join if I can, but dont let me hold others back) thanks all!# Pdm
