let's stand on the shoulders of giants, build on RFC 8890 "The Internet is for End Users" and strive for a liveable planet!

I aim to see the fediverse as a convivial tool to connect people in a healthy, cheerful, enjoyable, self-determined way.

Front and foremost: be social, be web.

I want to see conversations between all stakeholders, be it the server operators, implementers, standards bodies or end users or whomever I forgot.

P.S.: In practice this means for me: provide software to end users, that's a joy to self-operate for them for decades. And the software enabling connections and conversations. Mitigating harm and fostering joy.

And here in the standards realm: Aim for elegance, remove warts rather than canonicalizing them. Every complexity has to justify in terms of RFC 8890. Embrace diversity. Demand cooperation. Listen.
