Hot on the heels of Evan's and a's announcement of the Webfinger CG report last week, I'm pleased to say that nightpool and I will be editing a similar CG report on HTTP Signatures in the fediverse. I have one ask for the group: do any of you know of a good example or two of a successful W3C CG report? I'm still ramping up on exactly what these are and how they fit into the broader standards ecosystem. Good past examples would be welcome! Right now, as with the webfinger report, the goal here is to collect information on current use of HTTP Sigs with AP, give directions for implementers to get started with best practices, and point towards future work that can be done.
