Re: Community Events Calendar and Website

Thank you for your comment regarding the #swicg IRC on the website. Indeed, #social on irc.w3.org is our community chat. I shall make the requiste amendment.

While W3C login would be ideal, GitHub was already available as an authentication option for the meeting tool we have set up, Meetable. SWICG has had a GitHub account since its inception, and work by the former Working Group was done via GitHub (i.e. in https://github.com/w3c-social). Furthermore, we use GitHub for issue triage on specifications.

RSVP'ing to an event is entirely optional. As always, members can show up to meetings!
