Although Adobe never directly responded to their action to check the equations, it seems that the publication of the blend mode equations in SVG did have an "un-chilling" effect and the equations were subsequently published in the ISO PDF spec. Benjamin has done some careful comparisons, so the corrections are verified by implementation. Its also important for the wider community that the equations are published in an RF specification which is freely available and freely implementable. -- Chris Lilley mailto:chris@w3.org Technical Director, Interaction Domain W3C Graphics Activity Lead Co-Chair, W3C Hypertext CG
