ISSUE-2067 (parameter keywords): Consider adding parameter keyword access without script [SVG Core 2.0] http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/WG/track/issues/2067 Raised by: Doug Schepers On product: SVG Core 2.0 It would be desirable to allow a declarative way to use the parameters of the embedded object as "variables" in property values, perhaps with a SMIL-type syntax. For an example of how to do this in script, see the following pair of files: http://dev.w3.org/SVG/proposals/params/params.html The same SVG file is used three times, with different parameters for the color and text. This would be very useful for creating scriptless components (buttons or charts).
