Hello WG. There are numerous attribute definitions in the spec that say things like: If the attribute is not specified, the effect is as if a value of "0" were specified. Should these be replaced with text like the following? The lacuna value of this attribute is "0". Would there be any cases where this isn’t what we want (i.e., where we want only omitted attributes to be treated as that value, rather than omitted *and* unsupported values to be treated as that value)?
