nikosandronikos has just labeled an issue for https://github.com/w3c/svgwg as "DoC_accepted": == Value for SVGURIReference.href.animVal when 'xlink:href' is specified (but not 'href') == The note at the end of https://svgwg.org/svg2-draft/types.html#InterfaceSVGURIReference say > The animVal attribute reflects the animated value of the ‘href’ attribute. which is misleading at best, since the normative text just above it say > On getting href, an SVGAnimatedString object is returned that: > > - reflects the ‘href’ attribute, and > - if the element is defined to support the deprecated ‘xlink:href’ attribute, additionally reflects that deprecated attribute. Which would suggest that animVal does not always reflect the animated value of 'href'. See https://github.com/w3c/svgwg/issues/127
