Yes, although I'd be happy enough with read permissions to the
repository (given that patches could then be generated), if there was
a sufficiently swift patch submit+review work-flow.

Of course that, even if/when one gets write access to stuff, I'd
propose that very significant changes (other than typos and such)
would be first submitted as patches for a quick review/discussion
prior to commit. :-)

I've been using SVN the most, but I also have accessed a few
repositories using CVS (via TortoiseCVS [1], a friendly user
interface), so I may also give some sort of setup+support to whoever
is not comfortable with using this sort of approach (specially for
Windows users, at it seems that most group members are either on Linux
or MacOS). ;-)

While creating my SSH key, I found PuTTY [2] (a Windows Telnet/SSH
utility which ships with PuTTYgen, a user friendly key generator) very
handy; other users on Windows may also find it useful... :-)
