I just updated "my version" to include a link to the official W3C version with the following language added at the very top: (Note: As of October 2009 this version has been frozen and is no longer evolving . The official W3C version is the "live" version and should be viewed at http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/IG/resources/svgprimer.html .) I believe that with the exception of the above statement and the previously mentioned styling differences, the two versions are the same in content.
